I have not seen Selma yet.  Reviews have generally been excellent, mostly criticizing the film for Oprah's supporting performance (she is not a great actor) and criticism that it attacks LBJ (which apparently is a line race baiting can't cross with liberal Democrats).  

I liked Grand Budapest, but best picture? I do want to go see American Sniper. Has the Academy Awards become a massive promotion stunt for the post Oscar DVD rental market?
